UBTTA Doctrinal Statement

Union Baptist Fellowship, Incorporated (UBF), is a fellowship of churches committed to the implementation Christ’s Great Commission beyond the confines of the local churches to the community where children of the family of God reside. From its beginning, Union’s focus has been upon Christian Education, Home Mission, Foreign Missions and Evangelism; always seeking and implementing the most effective ways to serve this present age.

At Union, when we come together our goal is to worship God and strategize on the most effective ways in which we can serve this present age. We seek to do that through Home Mission, Foreign Mission, Evangelism and Christian Education.

Educational

Union Baptist Theological and Training Academy is committed to the ideals of Christian Education: the development of the whole man. We believe that knowledge in the Word of God, the development of Christian character, specialized training for service, and application of Biblical principles to the student’s daily life is what is required for Christian service. Union Baptist Theological Training Academy is dedicated to the promotion of Christian service and turning hearts toward God.

Doctrinal Statement

It is the sincere conviction of UBTTA that the Word of God alone is adequate in providing the full development of the whole person. All faculty members accept the Bible, as the inerrant Word of God, and that it is the final authority in all matters, which pertain to life and practice. This is the foundation upon which all curricula are based.  

Union Baptist Theological Training Academy maintains a conservative theological position. UBTTA recognizes the following beliefs:

1. The Bible is the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe in one God revealed in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. The reality of Satan and his present control over unregenerate man.
4. The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
5. Jesus vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood.
6. Jesus bodily resurrection.
7. Jesus ascension to the right hand of the Father.
8. Jesus personal return in power and glory as King of kings and Lord of lords.
9. The fall of man and his lost state.
10. The reconciliation of man to God by the sacrificial death and shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
11. The resurrection of believers unto everlasting life and blessing in heaven, and the resurrection of unbelievers unto everlasting punishment in the torments of hell.
12. The ever-present ministry of the Holy Spirit.
13. The Ex Nihilo creation of the universe and all that is in it.
