Core Courses
UBTTA offers six core classes taught in person at two locations and online to facilitate attendance by pastors, church leaders, and lay persons in the Houston and surrounding areas. In addition, three Concentration Tracks are available.
Classes are held once a week from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Bible Study Methods
This course is designed to develop the skills of the inductive approach to studying the Bible, using a three-step process of Observation, Interpretation and Application.

Introduction to Old Testament
This course is designed to do a brief exegetical study through the Old Testament examining the Historical, Geographical, Cultural, Literary and Theological contexts of the Old Testament.

This course is designed to introduce students in what is theology, the different categories of theology and how to do theology.

Principles of Teaching
This course is designed to develop skills needed for understanding the rol of the teacher and student, and how to put a lesson together for an effective teaching experience.
